Playoff Game in October? Yes indeed!
After notching their first district win with a 28-19 win over the WT White Longhorns last Friday night, the Rams now enter “LH week” with their eyes on getting a pivotal second district win. The Wildcats enter the contest with a perfect 3-0 district mark (4-2 overall) and are fresh off of a 37-6 win over the Sunset Bison. The Wildcats are lead by QB Michael Ketchmark and the strong running duo of Jacobi Johnson and Devonte Sunwengham. The Wildcats have a four game winning streak in the series with the Rams last winning coming in 2006. With playoff implications and the added bonus of a bitter rivalry, this should be a great game. A LH win will set them up for a playoff spot and showdown with Skyline for the district championship. A Berkner win will give them a 2-2 district mark and a final run against Richardson, Sunset, and Samuel for a playoff berth of their own. Game time at Ram-Wildcat this Friday is set for 7:30pm.
Rams Need a Win!!
Reminder- The Ram Varsity FB team will be seeking its first district win as it travels to Loos Stadium to take on the pesky WT White Longhorns on Friday night (Oct. 7). The Longhorns are coming off of a loss to the LH Wildcats and the Rams are eager to move on from a tough 42-34 loss in 4 OT’s to the Jesuit Rangers. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm. Be there!!

Rams Lose District Opener
District Opener-Rams v.s Raiders
The “open” week was a great time to reflect on the non-district successes and the difficult district schedule that lies ahead. After a hard fought 20-10 home loss to the Southlake Carroll Dragons, the Rams (2-1) used the off week to heal some bruises and take a little extra time to study the Skyline Raiders. The Raiders (3-0) enter the game having beaten Arlington Bowie, Memphis Ridgeway (Tennessee), and Cocoa (Florida) in three televised contests. The Raiders are led by several Division I level athletes, with Peter Jinkens, David Green, Thomas Johnson, and Davante Kincaide dominating the statistics. The Raider offensive line is massive with the starting five averaging about 280 lbs. per man. The challenge of slowing down the high octane Raider offense is a large one and the equally large task of moving the ball against the speedy Skyline defense has the Rams spending extra time on the chalkboard.
Kickoff is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 23rd at Forester Field and should occur at 7:30pm sharp.
In subvarsity action, the 9th Green team will host the Raiders at the Berkner “B” Field at 6pm on Thurs. Sept. 22 followed by the JV game at approximately 7:30pm. The 9th White team will actually travel to Ram-Wildcat Stadium for a 5:30 pm kickoff against the LH Wildcats

North Crowley to Visit Ram-Wildcat Stadium
The Varsity Rams will look to go 2-0 on the season as they play host to the North Crowley Panthers on THURSDAY night at 7pm at Ram-Wildcat Stadium. The Panthers fell short in their Week Zero matchup against Irving Nimitz 33-27. The Panthers are led by dual-threat QB Josh Price and a very speedy group of receivers and backs.
